Mid 19th Century Black Steatite Pipe With Pewter InlayThis is a good example of this style of pipe. It has a short prow and the bowl swells up from the base. It has three different bands of inlay on the bowl and and an inlaid sawtooth band and five smooth bands on the back of the pipe. The surface shows years of wear and use.
